Adena Art Contests!

All you adena artists grab a hold of your pants! Ash made this exciting announcement yesterday on the Official L2 Boards! I’m pleased to announce the beginning of a new activity for the Lineage II community, the Adena Art Contest. For full details, follow this link. Adena Art Contest Details I thought I’d open this thread to emphasize an important point: There will be no adena refunds for any reason. With that in mind, here are a couple tips to help insure a smooth creation process. * Create your piece in a remote, unpopulated area. * Recruit some trusted friends to stand guard while you create your piece. * Create your piece during a time of day when fewer people are around. * And, of course, place your adena in increments of one (1). We are not ruling out the use of non-adena items. However, your creation must be made mostly out of adena. If there is even the slightest appearance that the main ingredient of the design is not adena, that will be a factor in judging. So use non-adena items sparingly. Of course, the no-refund rules applies to these items as well. You must use the normal zoom capabilities. Any screenshots that use extended zoom due to client modification will be disqualified. I also noticed some questions about the registration process. Simply follow the same procedure described for the screenshot submission process. Here's a passage: "To enter, go to Knowledge Base – Click on the 'Ask A Question' tab - Choose 'Contest Submission' for Department – Put 'Adena Art Contest' for Subject..." And simply tell us your 1. Character name 2. Server 3. Design concept Then, once you've actually created the piece, follow the same process, including the screenshot and the other requested information. Certain areas, unfortunately, could not be included due to legal restrictions placed on us by the laws of those regions. Someone made the point that some people would prefer real-life prizes, while others would prefer in-game prizes. We have multiple prize models just for this reason. Other events are already in development. Good luck and have fun! - Ash p.s. If you have any further questions about this event, please feel free to message me directly.
