I cant help but notice how many people think that these are a GREAT rog twink, they are not just think a rogs most important stats are as follows, in this order dex, str, agi, and then sta, and in my opinion sta is mostly a waste of time, the only reason i would consider giving these to a rog twink |

I could conceivably see a Bestlord wearing these, as their equipment doesn't have much AC in it anyways, and the rest of the stuff is great. I could also see a bard wearing them when soloing... no meditate (well ok... 1pt) so gotta rely solely on their songs, this would make that down time quicker. |

I completed this quest yesterday. I have to say that this weapon is very nice. I'm not much interested in the weapons you can get in Luclin...that's fine. I may go get one eventually. I did this quest for the satisfaction of DOING it.

Totally agree Sal'Varae's Robe of Darkness is the best, it will definately keep me alive longer anyway 20 sta 100 hp more ac and more resists. Faster mana regain is not going to help me if I am nuking. Just imagine the aggro if I used that extra mana. |

Dude, get your head out of your ass, do you know how easy it is to hit the 250 wis/int cap these days?
Why do you think 50 AC robes drop for casters?!?
Casters need to get their hps up as well, they take some damage too once in awhile. Kind of hard to avoid AE on a rooted mob.

FYI:
The wiz spire is safe from aggro. Only if people pull on you will a mob attack you. With invis you can make it to zone *if you stick to the straight path to door*(Haven't seen a see invis mob there yet, just elsewhere in maze if you get lost) but beware in CY, above the double doors VI stuck |

I have camped the Grol Baku camp near the small lake in SD for a long long time. I have prolly killed the keeper somewhere between 40-60 times and I have never seen this drop. He can also drop Follower's Sleeves, Bracer of Defense and a low end caster 2hb along with a low end caster robe.

Actually as a 60 Ranger I still use this as an escape potion. I have wandered the maze and there are never any see invis mobs up in the dirrection of the zone. The spires are also a safe area and the maze is not prone to trains meaning plenty of time to get wolf form (for speed faster than sow) and |

I'd say it depends on who you are really...
For a wizard or mage, this robe owns... mana regen is it all the way. A good wizard shouldn't get hit (quad 1154s are an ugly thing at 900AC, 3khp), and this robe means more nukes in a long battle (like the worm that drops it) or faster |

Can anybody tell me where in TM the Coterie Combatant spawns? I've kill the vamp camp near the grimling zone 12 times over, no coterie. I've killed the vamp camp in the NW corner of the zone near Katta even more. I get a coterie duelist, trooper, and gladiator which all drop marks, but no combatant. |

You have to take into consideration the relative AC of this item compared to Rangers. Rangers get an AC bonus, casters don't. This 50 AC BP for casters would be equivalent to a 30-35 AC BP for Rangers (after AC bonus). |
