In 2009, Allakhazam hosted its first ever egg decorating contest to collect entries for the 2009 Egg Fight. Forty seven eggs were received and each was split into either the Model or Traditional category. Model eggs are entries that use the egg to transform it into a creature. Props and accessories are used to decorate the model eggs. Traditional eggs are entries that are art on the eggshell, decorated in the more traditional manner.
Voting
Voting to determine the sixteen semi-finalist eggs will run from Wednesday, March 25 to Thursday, April 2nd 2009. Voting has now ended.
Eight semi-finalists from each category will be chosen by the community to participant in a tournament bracket. The two final winners will face off to determine who will receive the Grand Prize.
