With the conclusion of Lunar Festival, which may as well have ended Feb 6 for me, there were a few days to kill before Love is in the Air came up. I could have aggressively pursued situating myself for some things I could do during the festival, but I decided to just take what came to me. Considering I had guildmates looking to run Magisters' Terrace (which is spelled differently in the achievement for some reason) on two days, I ended up working on daily quests and completed the cash-looting achievement at the very beginning of the day after my normal run. I was pretty close to 50 daily quests completed, but chose to go for the next tier of fish instead so I could sit in town and fish during the festival.

Love is in the Air is downright obnoxious. Let's forget that there are 14 achievements to do in 5 days, and consider that some of them are outright impossible to do in 5 days. I alternated between my main and Restandre for days at the top of the hour. I should have hit it harder in the beginning. In the end, both characters had plenty of lovely black dresses, but I only got perma-peddle on Arcazua and only ever got bags of candy on Restandre. Minus one day where a pet I transferred and mistakedly used gave me an achievement I had on standby, each achievement done in the 5 day span actually had to be done during the festival. Quite a few others didn't specify, but required the use of items that will expire in the next few days, so I'm still doing LitA achievements after it concluded on Feb 15. This is putting me on a bit of a standby with doing anything else, but that's ok since I've got a week ahead of me of grading papers. Incidentally, I went to Quel'danas today (the 16th) and hit level 74 running daily quests. Still green!
edit: I continued to mop up a few Lovefest achievements afterwards, with the items I had that weren't expired. So in case anyone is wondering, yes, they can be done later...also, in case anyone is wondering, the quest to kill gargoyles in Steel Gate is apparently a daily quest. ><

There are a bunch of achievements related to cooking, and many of them involve the daily quest in Dalaran. One of my very early goals was to get cooking to the level where I could start doing these quests. I actually didn't care so much about fishing, but I wanted cooking up so I could start on those. However, at the conclusion of Love is in the Air, I was sitting on a skill of about 185 and was going to have to really work at getting it up the rest of the way unless I was going to simultaneously work on Loremaster -- which I assumed would be something I'd come back for later.
So I've set out on a mission to specifically work on cooking, and because of that, fishing as well. I raised the cap on my fishing first since it was already at 225 and since it involved more travelling. Meanwhile, I had to track down missing recipes and also farm a ton of meat/fish to blow through the rest of the 225 level and on to 300. I got really stuck at 295 since my old recipes had gone gray and my fishing wasn't high enough to supply me, so I went to Silithus to get the sandworm meat recipe. With Master Cookbook in hand, I finished the job there. I'm going to need to start working on 300-375 now, which means I might actually see Outland for a change...which I'm actually not looking forward to since I don't have an epic flier. At least I have all the flight points.
Update 3/4: After two days spent wrapping up Howling Fjord and doing some odds and ends on the side, I took my cooking show to Outland. A skill of ~310 became 333 courtesy of Ravager Dogs, and I went to 360+ shortly thereafter in Nagrand from farming talbuks and clefthooves. And nothing actually done in Outland otherwise! Anyway, I got my first cooking award today and can start progressing toward the 100 Dalaran Cooking Awards achievement.

I've been very busy with work and moderately disinterested with playing, so most of the time my log-ins have looked like this: "Do Dalaran cooking daily, do The Rokk's cooking daily, find an achievement, log out."
If you look at the achievement list that follows, most of them are things that either come as a result of doing those dailies, or are just kind of along the way. I have tried to do some questing -- both old world and in Dragonblight -- but I've basically shelved the old world stuff due to reputation concerns. If I don't watch out, I'm gonna end up getting my Alliance reputation the same time I get 5 reputations. I'm desperately trying to get some other faction up to exalted first, but I'm tired of SSO which is the only thing that's close. I may just have to bite the bullet on that one so it stops affecting me. I've certainly grabbed a few of these other achievements so I can stop fretting over them, like Safe Deposit, Old Gnome and the Sea, and Master Fisherman. I haven't burned Represent yet, but I have a feeling that will be coming soon.
