Do you like the idea of fighting from range, shaping magic through an arcane disc, channeling the force of will into sheets of flame, icy blades, and cannonballs of pure energy? Maybe you should be a sorcerer.

The sorcerer strikes and evades and strikes again, flanking the foe, leaping out of danger, playing a game of position. With only sorcerous robes for protection, staying out of the way of attacks is of paramount importance, and dealing massive amounts of damage in a spectacular fashion is all in a day's work for this explosive player class.

Warriors of the intellect, sorcerers are at their best when they stand apart, watch for vulnerability, then make their foes pay dearly for it.

Playing Style

In battle, you play a game of position with the foe, finding the best line through your opponents, the best spot from which to strike, the best moment . . . and then smiting. If that sounds fun, roll up a sorcerer!

Arms and Armor

The sorcerer smites foes with magic focused through an arcane disk that leaps and whirls as it shapes and augments the sorcerer's innate power to destroy foes. Whether fire, ice, traps or curses, the disk channels raw magical power from the sorcerer into targeted attacks and spectacular area of effect skills.

The sorcerer's only armor is the robes, gloves, and shoes of an arcanist. They do not provide a great deal of protection against attacks, so the ability to flank and dodge during combat can make the difference between a live sorcerer and a dead one, particularly while soloing.

Skill Overview

Sorcerers can slow down or trap their targets, but their specialty is killing the greatest number of foes in the shortest period of time. Their skills are a mix of area, in-line, and targeted attacks and debuffs.

Sorcerers burn their foes with fire, freeze them with ice, and blast them with pulses of arcane energy. They set traps of explosive power and traps of pure killing agony. They recharge the mana spent in combat, and are soon ready to fight again. Their unbridled killing clout makes them indispensable to any party of adventurers.

Party Role

Sorcerers are artillery. They deliver power against a target, either with pinpoint accuracy or in punishing barrages. Sorcerers shorten any fight, clearing out minor threats quickly with area-of-effect attacks or doing massive damage to large foes with targeted skills. They can also provide covering fire, slowing down the enemy or blunting an attack so that healers can do their jobs and melee fighters can maneuver more easily. Sorcerers may not be as flexible as other classes, but when you're in a knife fight it's awfully nice to have brought along a gun.

Fireball

Shoots a fireball forward. A fireball flies by 15m, giving a damage to a target on hit.
Ice Needle

Shoots a magic ice needle forward. An ice needle gives a penetrating damage up to 15m in range, decreasing enemies' movement speed by 50% over 3s.
Blastball

A power charged skill. Shoots a huge magic ball forward. A magic ball gives a penetrating damage up to 8m in range. An attack is executed as you release attack button. Attack power increases while holding an attack button.
Mana Boost

Restores MP for 12 each 1s over 20s. Regeneration cancels when you use another skill or item, or when you are hit during regeneration.
Flame Column

Generages columns of flames in front. Flame column damages targets within 3m.
Contract of Wreck

The very next attack within 20s after casting increases damage by 30%.
Backstep

Jumps to the rear, distancing from the front.
Seal of Thunderbolt

Places a trap right under the caster's feet. The trap paralyzes targets for 5s.
Blastshell Lob
16
Throws a blastshell in the distance of 10m to the front. It damages targets within 4m in radius.
Hellfire

Generates flaming hellfire 10m in front. Hellfire gives a damage to all targets within 4 m in range.
Soaring Attack
24
Attacks the target while standing up. You can only use this skill when you are knocked down.
Mana Shield
28
Generates a strong mana shield, absorbing damage. MP decreases for every damage taken, and the effect is cleared when you exceed the max damage absorption limit or use up all MP. Lasts 15s.
Bomb of Annihilation
32
Releases a bomb of annihilation to the front, flying up to 24m. It inflicts a great damage to one target.
Sleeping Wind

Creates a lulling breeze that lulls foes from a distance.
