2Moons allows the player to select from one of six classes. Though there are some basic common weapons, different classes use different weaponry, and each class has its own skill tree. Each character has their advantages and disadvantages. More on the different classes can be found Here

Quests As most any MMORPG, quests are available to players once they have reached a given required level. These quests differ in nature, ranging from running between NPCs to deliver either information or items to more difficult tasks of killing a specific number of monsters. Certain quests are unique to each class, and so rewards may differ between classes. 2Moons features a Quest Log that automatically keeps track of both completed and unfinished quests for easy reference. Quests also grant Adventure Points to players, which may be donated to guilds for various rewards.

Support 2Moons has a multi-layered support system, with GMs (Game Masters), VGMs (Volunteer Game Masters), and moderators. Each group is targeted at regulating different portions of the game. More explicit technical support is available on the 2Moons forums, via IRC chat, or in-game by simply asking a marked support member.

Events Game Masters often schedule various player-driven events for the community. They are usually scheduled and posted on the forums well in advance to allow players to attend.

Combat The focus of 2Moons is on combat, and as such it sports different combat modes between players and monsters.

Player vs. Player Players can duel one another with consent in any area. Duels frequently occur in safety zones such as Loa Castle, Braiken Castle, and Denebe. The victor of a duel earns PvP points; however, there is no current known use for the points. A player defeated in a duel reincarnates on the spot with minimal health and mana.

Fights without consent (player killing) can only be performed in areas outside a safety zone. In such cases, players enter a battle status, during which the names of the players involved turn purple. In this mode, players can not gain PvP points through victory. The victor of a non-consensual fight may gain PK and Inclination Points, if the attacked player did not fight back. The defeated player dies and must respawn from a set return point. Inclination Points will decrease over time or when being killed. Players with more than 0 IP can be attacked and killed outside safety zones without consequences for the attacker. Also they cannot use shops or tele-porters and will respawn in jail if they die with a too high IP score.

2Moons includes a 'Shield' system, which can only be utilized in Player Versus Player combat. The shield activates only against an attack launched by another player, and it acts as additional protection and regenerates steadily after combat. Its strength is based on the armor rating, health, and level of the player. The shield prevents quick killing of weakened players, giving them a chance to run away from battle.

Player versus Monster Players gain experience through combat against the enormous hordes of enemies in 2Moons. Monsters are found in nearly every area, and come in many different forms and difficulties. Players may attack monsters at any time, and, once attacked, monsters will counter-attack and follow the player until either the player leaves the monster's line of sight, or one of the two combatants dies. Monsters respawn continuously in an area until a monster quota is reached. If a monster is significantly more powerful than a player, the monster will automatically attack and follow the player.

Experience Experience points earned in battle vary depending on the level of the monster and the level of the player. Monsters which are two levels or more than the player's level have a display name in red; monsters which are very low in level when compared to the player have a display name in green. Experience gained from slaying monsters outside of a player's level is modified based on the level difference.

There is currently no penalty for player death. Thus, a player can die without losing any experience or items.

Character Classes

Azure Knights

Azure Knights are the basic warrior class of 2Moons. Knights are capable of utilizing mana to obtain brief status boosts and are one of the hardest in PvP due to their high armor. Knights fight using swords, maces, and axes, which can be either one- or two-handed. Azure Knights are also capable of using shields, which improves the blocking rate of the knight.

Azure Knights have, along with reasonably strong and flexible weapon capabilities, a wide array of buffs at their disposal, including increased attack rates, critical hit chance, block rate, and movement speed.

In their weaponry tree, Knights may choose between mastering dual weapons, which offers very high damage and strong skills; axes, which offer an attack speed debuff, and cause bleeding in an enemy; maces, which offer a defense debuff and a stun effect; and swords, which offer improved block rate and a maximum HP debuff. If wielding a one-handed weapon, Knights may also wield shields, which provide increased defense.

Segita Hunter

Segita Hunters are the archer class of 2Moon. They have access to both bows and crossbows, as well as being able to use daggers as a secondary melee weapon. Hunters' special abilities generally center around more damaging bow and crossbow attacks, as well as relatively powerful dagger special abilities.

Incar Magician

Incar Magicians are the primary spellcasting class of 2Moons. Their spell types are elemental; they may use fire, which does extensive amounts of pure damage; ice, which ensnares and freezes; or lightning, which deals damage and has a chance to electrocute the enemy, which inflicts damage over time.

Because of their nature as a purely ranged class, Magicians have relatively low health and defense. They may choose between Staffs, which offer a higher block rate, or Wands, which offer greater magical offensive ability.

Segnale

Sengale are a unique, vampire-like class. They attack at medium range with a variety of whips, while at the same time being able to buff themselves and others, as well as debuff opponents. Sengale may increase their passive health regeneration (a rate which is locked for all other classes). At high levels, Sengale may use powerful area of effect attacks.

Bagi Warrior

Bagi Warriors serve as a highly durable tank class. Although their attacks are relatively slow and weak, they boast significantly higher durability than any other class. They also possess the ability to charge their fists with buffs that apply an elemental type to their outgoing damage. Bagi do not use blades; rather, they only use split-handed knuckle weapons.

Though less powerful than other classes at lower levels, at higher levels, the Bagi's durability makes them preferable for solo combat.

Vicious Summoner

Vicious Summoners specialize in, as their name suggests, summoning NPC creatures to aid their owner. Summoned creatures are either "Beasts" or "Libido" types; Beasts specialize in elemental damage, while Libido are demonic forms specializing in poison and curse.

In addition to having summoned creatures, Summoners wield either twin swords or staffs. They can dispatch summoned creatures to fight other monsters, which give the player experience without directly engaging in combat. The use of that practice is discouraged in PvP combat, because of its unfair nature.
