Many games have items that can be acquired throughout the game and, when examined, can be added to a Collection. When completed the Collection often gives a reward.

Sometimes the reward, when examined, can be added to another collection. A Collection that is made up solely of rewards from other Collections is called a Meta Collection. Sometimes this is also referred to as a "Cascading Collection".
