Renown Points (WAR)

Renown Points Known as RP, are the experience gained from RvR combat and objectives. This experience goes towards leveling your Renown Rank and unlocks equipment available only from Renown Equipment Merchants located on the top floor of friendly Keeps.
Renown Rank Players start at renown rank 1 and can progress to a maximum renown rank of 80. Progressing to higher Renown ranks allows the purchase of better Renown equipment and the training of special renown abilities.
Renown Abilities Renown Trainers allow a character to train special abilities by spending points achieved from Renown Ranks. Examples include Tactics to increase XP in RvR and passive bonuses to resistance.
Renown Equipment Renown Equipment can be purchased from Renown equipment vendors. Renown gear typically has requirements for both a minimum rank and a minimum renown rank to be equipped.
Renown equipment vendors are merchants that allow players to purchase items that are only available through earning renown rank or by special guild privileges. Renown equipment vendors are found in some Warcamps, all Keeps, and in the Guild Taverns. Vendors in different areas sell different levels of gear.

Renown Trainers Renown Trainers can be found in Warcamps and Keeps. They allow your character to train Renown Abilities and Renown Tactics. Renown Trainers also allow you to re-specialize your renown abilities.
