Brother Jebiah does not like Mathosians, as he blames Aedraxis Mathos and all Mathosians for the Shade. He likes the Machine Born only a little less. A dwarf of true religious convictions, he would burn the world to destroy the sacrilegious.

Dialogue

We are the annointed ones. The Vigil chose us. They have a plan, and we will be the harbingers of their justice.

Why do you think the Vigil brought us back?
We have a destiny to fulfill, %name. The Vigil brought us back to see that their creation was cleansed of the evil that has begun to spread like a cancer.

I used to think I knew where my life would end. Before Mathosia, I led the faithful in Hammerknell Fortress on a path of quiet contemplation. Prayer has its uses, but the Vigil calls on us to be the standard-bearers in the crusade against Regulos. I cannot go back to that life because the Vigil have a plan for me, just as they have a plan for you.

We must purge evil without hesitation. Ascended do not look the other way.

• I will punish Orphiel and his southern mercenaries for their crimes if it‘s the last thing I do.
• The defiant scoundrels hiding in the forest will be judged by the Vigil for their betrayal.
• The betrayers who sided with Aedraxis continue to thwart our progress. We must cut them out of the forest to ensure Valor Hold remains strong.
