Sparks are used to uncover hidden abilities on items. Each Spark will tell you what type of gear, what qualities, and what levels the item must meet to use that Spark.

• Crystal - Weapons
• Onyx - Armor
• Diamond - Accessories

Examples

• Crude Crystal Spark - Normal and Magic Weapons of Lv. 24 or below
• Crude Onyx Spark - Normal and Magic Armor of Lv. 24 or below
• Crude Diamond Spark - Normal and Magic Accessories (Rings: 24 or below, Earrings: 28 or below, Necklace: 29 or below)
• Crude Crystal Spark - Normal, Magic and Rare Weapons of Lv. 24 or below
• Crude Onyx Spark - Normal, Magic and Rare Armor of Lv. 24 or below
• Crude Diamond Spark - Normal, Magic and Rare Accessories (Rings: 24 or below, Earrings: 28 or below, Necklace: 29 or below)

• Crude Reset Spark - Resets discovered abilities. this allows you to rediscover the hidden abilites, maybe with different results.

We assume that the above pattern persists through other gems and rarities for higher-level items.
