Specter (EQ2 Mob Race)  

A Specter (or Spectre) is a very powerful Undead, usually appearing as a Skeleton with or without a robe and scythe. Some Specters appear ghostly, while others appear physically solid. Some specters are not even humanoid, but the vast majority are.

SOE seems to be undecided on which spelling to use, and uses both interchangeably.
