Remiotte : Well, you're certainly looking quite hapless, adventurer. Have you not your wits about you?
Remiotte : What's all the commotion, you ask? Well, everyone is on their way to see Troupe Mayakov's performance, of course.
My comrades have been scrambling about relentlessly for some time now trying to procure tickets.
Remiotte : Surely you are familiar with Troupe Mayakov, yes?
Remiotte : What!? I cannot even begin to imagine the enormity of the rock under which you must have been hiding.
Why, they are one of the most popular dancing troupes in Vana'diel right now, rivaled perhaps only by Troupe Brilioth.
Remiotte : Though from a stylistic and technical piont of view, I am of the personal opinion that Troupe Mayakov is considerably more advanced.
Remiotte : Of course, it certainly doesn't hurt that they have amassed some of the most adorable dancers I've ever seen!
Remiotte : In fact, a show is about to start over at the old tavern in Lion Square.
The troupe leader has decided to grace San d'Oria with a performance by popular demand.
Remiotte : Such a chance to see performers of that caliber up close doesn't present itself very often.
Everyone sure is up in a frenzy over it, all right.
Remiotte : Well, if you have time yourself, I would highly recommend you pay a visit.
Although I offer no guarantee that you'll be able to get your hands on a ticket.
Remiotte : What I wouldn't give to not be on guard duty...
(Sigh)...

Melderphaux : Mr. Mayakov, let me first of all thank you for taking the time to speak with us here today.
We know that you are a busy man.
Melderphaux : Now please, sir, if you would, share with us what you consider to be the highlight of this, your latest show.
Mayakov : It would be my pleathure.
Ath I'm thure you all know by now, my Troupe Mayakov only incorparateth the motht beautiful and dathzling of elementth into ith danth.
Mayakov : However, it hath come to my attention ath of late, that we have reached the abtholute pinnacle of vithible aeththetic beauty.
Melderphaux : Well, errr... That's...
Mayakov : And tho one reathon I have come here today ith to make it known that thome time ago I made it out troupe philothophy to theek out new horithonth and new challengeth. To be true vanguardth of our art.
Mayakov : And guided by that philothophy, I have dithcovered a new theme for our danthe. A new realm to throw ourthelveth into. A new moduth operandi by which to move and bring delight to our audienth. "Dreamth"!
Mayakov : Through our danthe and our art, we hope to bring dreamth to everyone in their troubled timeth.
Melderphaux : That is a most intriguing concept, Mr. Mayakov.
And, may I say, a theme most befitting a dance troupe as beautiful and as glamorous as Troupe Mayakov.
Mayakov : The majethtic drawing of the curtain! The dazthling thine of the thpotlight.
And then! The unparalleled beauty and grathe of my danthing angelth!
Mayakov : The flying of thweat off of pasthion-driven browth! The hypnotic clicking of heelth on the hard, polithed, wooden thtage!
I promithe to thend our audienthe home with ane evening of rapture they will not thoon forget!

Bravo! Bravo!

Viridiana : But, Mr. Mayakov, what is your response, then, to pundits who claim that the current state of affairs is not particularly conducive to the continuation of extravagant arts such as dance?
Mayakov : Utter nonthenth!
Mayakov : I don't care if it'th coming from the Thadow Lord himthelf, or any other perthon for that matter!
Mayakov : I don't care if ith in front of the royal throne, or before the very gateth of hell!
Mayakov : Troupe Mayakov will continue to danthe no matter what the thircumthantheth!

Spoken like a true artist!

Mayakov : Hm...?
Mayakov : What ith thith perthon doing here?
Gindaff, come!
Mayakov : How do you exthplain thith thpectator getting patht thecurity?
The thow hath yet to begin.
Gindaff : My apologies, Mr. Mayakov, sir.
Mayakov : I apprethiate your enthuthiathm, but I'm afraid we are thtill undergoing pre-thow preparathionth.
I'll have to athk you to leave for the time being, but be thure to come back later with your ticket.
Mayakov : Wait a moment, there...
Mayakov : Do you even have a ticket?

Do you have a ticket?

  • Got it right here!
  • N-no, I don't.

Mayakov : Well then, thertainly you wouldn't mind thowing it to me. Humor me, if you would, pleathe.

Do you have a ticket?

  • Got it right here!
  • N-no, I don't.

Mayakov : Heeheehee, thurely you're joking. What kind of thidethow attracthion do you take Troupe Mayakov for?
Ticketh to our performanthe have been thold out for weekth!
Mayakov : Even the platinum ticketh going for hundredth of thouthandth of gil thold out in the blink of an eye.
I'm thorry, but you'll jutht have to chalk it up to a lack of luck thith time.
Mayakov : Thee to it our gueth findth her way out, Gindaff!

Phillarceaux : Come ooon, when is the show going to start?
I can't wait...
Turlough : I've been looking forward to this for weeks. And now that it's so close, I can barely contain myself!
How much longer will it be?
Gindaff : Unfortunately our rehearsals have run a bit longer than initially expected.
The troupe asks that you remain patient for just a bit longer, and offers its sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.
Turlough : Well, this doesn't look promising.
I have to get going soon...
Allaipre : You scoundrel!
Turlough : Ah! Wh-what are you doing here!?
Allaipre : So this is what was so important you had to leave the shop?
What is this? What's going on here?
Turlough : N-nothing. It's just some... Well, there's this...
Allaipre : What's that you have there? A ticket?
Troupe...Mayakov...?
Turlough : No, no! I have no idea what that is!
I didn't do anything! I admit nothing!
Allaipre : I knew you were up to something, acting all shady like you were!
And look at you now! Skipping work and leaving the shop unattended to come to a place like this!
Allaipre : Well, if you don't get back to work, there'll be no dinner tonight! Or any other night for that matter!
Turlough : But I...like...dinner...
