The Tuskarr appear to be a dour, wary race to most outsiders when initially meeting them. They do not give their trust or faith lightly and outsiders must prove themselves worthy to be considered part of the clans and welcome in their homes. Their culture is focused around fishing and whaling, with the massive sharks and Orca in the depths being their most prevalent competition to their food sources. Maintaining their skill and prowess in fishing is so vitally important to them, in fact, that it is considered immoral and a failure on the part of the individual Tuskarr to not provide for the tribe. Fishing and whaling are carried out by the males of the race, whilst the Tuskarr females are tasked with the farming of the few sparse crops that will grow in the bleak tundra. In addition, they also gather what roots and berries they can find to supplement the tribal diets. Not only are they skilled in fishing and survival in a harsh landscape, they have become exceedingly skilled in the breeding of Penguins as farm animals and turtles to serve as warsteeds.
