Given by Lix Luckkin.
"The hobgoblin stonecallers are carrying around an orange gem encrusted ring. Not my taste in style, but it appears to be what they use to summon the minions forth through those corruption pits. If you can obtain one of these rings, you might be able to summon forth the Aspect of Zalaz by using it against his minions."
"Get a ring and use it on the rock dervishes. Do this enough times and it will surely anger the spirit enough to set forth his aspect. See if you can reason with him to stop sending his minions through the corrupted pits. If it attacks, maybe the ring will do something. If not, then I will pray for you in the end."
Objectives:
Kill hobgoblin stonecallers to obtain a Ring of Zalaz. Use the ring on the corrupted minions until the Aspect of Zalaz appears. Speak with the aspect and reason with it to stop destroying the crops and the earth. If it attacks, use the ring against it. Return to Lix Luckkin when done.
Dialogue with the Aspect of Zalaz:
"Why do you abuse the the ring of Zalaz?"
You say: "The hobgoblins are using your minions to destroy food supplies and poison this beautiful land."
"I do not care about your troubles, mortal. Deal with them yourself. Do not abuse the power of Zalaz again, or I shall bring your soul down to oblivion."
You say: "Your threats only go so far, spirit. The hobgoblins are the ones abusing your power."
"They do my bidding, just as you will once I consume your essence and claim your mortal flesh as my own. Now...kneel before me and accept your fate."
You say: "I'd rather die than let you continue your evil ways, spirit!"
At that point, he turns killable. You can kill him without using the ring, incase you forget to click on it during the fight.
"You truly are a hero, Vendolyn. That aspect was clearly corrupted, yet with its increase in strength you still managed to defeat it."
"It shall be written down in the scrolls about the day Vendolyn fought and defeated the mighty Aspect of Zalaz single handedly."
