Samuraiking(Sam-oo-rye-k-ing) - a Mythical Legend of the Gilgamesh server on FFXI. This player is one of the best there ever was. It was once said that he beat Fafnir in a Sword Fight Showdown and Fafnir gave Samuraiking his 2 Ridills in return for sparing his Life. Samuraiking alegedly used the 2 swords to chop off Fafnir's head, thus summoning Niddhogg, his Father.
The Battle that ensued between Niddhogg and Samuraiking was one of great legend, it was said that the battle was fought in a giant tree underground for 3 days without rest, both of them nearly even matched. The dust and wind stirred up between them covered the tree with a thick sand storm, nearly impossible for anyone to see the fight, making it impossible to discover the victor. On the fourth day when the smoked cleared both Samuraiking and Niddhog were gone without a trace, it is said that Samuraiking defeated Niddhog and rides him to this very day, but no one has seen either since that epic day.
Early Years: Samuraiking grew up in Bastok, a Galk and a trouble maker of sorts, always wandering off. It is said that he was off training to be a great warrior at a young age by himself, at the age of 12 he was already a High ranking officer of the Iron Musketeer's. His Rank did not last long, it is said that after only a few days he grew tired of his job and wanted more challenging foes. He dissapeared for a few years without a trace, intill he showed up in jeuno one day as a Mercenary. It is said that he was hired by the Duke himself to bring back the heads of many beastmen warlords. No one but the Duke knows if this was true or not, but a lowly Knight has brought word of the High Orc Warlord's head in the Duke's chambers. He caught a peek when he was passing by the door, no one but the Duke himself is allowed in.
Samuraiking's adventures are shrouded in mystery, he comes and goes like the wind. Killing Many Notorious Monsters along the way, paving his destiny as the Notorious Killer. In this period many Notorious Monsters and Leaders hid in fear, there was a short period of peace in vana'diel, but it was short lived. Samuraking disappeared again because of lack of Monsters, lack of challenge and lack of patience. Some say Samuraking was Evil at heart and only thirsted for blood, maybe it was evil blood, or maybe it was just his own that he could only taste from fighting the greatest of the Notorious Monsters, but few say he was the nicest man alive, and he killed them for the good of the people. No one knows weather this Galka was a demon, or a hero of the world.
Family: Galkas don't have any real blood related Family, some say he called his friends family if he had any, but no word was ever heard from them, he was always roaming and disappearing so it's believed he was alone. So many unanswered questions that remain to this Great Legend.
Death: Samuraiking was born on ???, ?? 2003, and it was said he died on that fateful night fighting Niddhog, no one believes even the Great Legend could take down Niddhogg, but no one knows for sure weather he is still there or not, no body or witness of his death was ever found.
