Thanalan
The region just outside of the city-state of Ul'dah is the region of Thanalan. The region is a desert environment consisting of many different opportunities for adventurers.
Regions
Central Thanalan
Right outside the city-state of Ul'dah is the central region of Thanalan. In this region you can find both Camp Black Brush and the Nanawa Mines.
Camp & Gates
Eastern Thanalan
The eastern part of Thanalan consists of Camp Drybone and the outpost The Golden Bazaar to north-west of the region. Also to the far east near The Burning Wall you can find the airship station. To the north is the entrance to The Black Shroud which leads to Gridania.
Western Thanalan
Western Thanalan has the outpost The Silver Bazaar to the south and Camp Horizon near the center. On the eastern side is Copperbell Mines and to the west is the Ferry Dock to Limsa Lominsa.
Northern Thanalan
The northern parts of Thanalan have Camp Bluefog near the center and if continuing north leads into Mor Dhona. Also of interest are the mining operations which are currently blocked off from noisy adventurers.
Southern Thanalan
South of eastern Thanalan is the region known as southern Thanalan. This region has Camp Broken Water which is rumored to currently being offering adventurers compensation for ridding the area around the camp of annoying monsters.
Connecting Zones
Thanalan is connected to four areas. In central Thanalan it is connected to the city-state of Ul'dah. In eastern Thanalan it is connected to The Black Shroud leading to the city-state of Gridania. On the western side the Ferry Dock will take you to the city state of Limsa Lominsa for free.
