According to a post on the Alganon Web site, players of the game will have the ability to receive text messages on their cell phones that alert them with guild updates, news on their characters' study progress, and so on. The SMS messaging support has been introduced in the game and will be updated through the beta process.

You can currently set up your SMS account through your MyAlganon account. A step-by-step process to enable text-messaging capabilities can be found here or below.

More details on what sort of information you'll be able to have sent to your cell phone will be provided as the Alganon team approaches the game's release. What do you think? Would you utilize such a feature?

Community Manager Matthew "Berek" Anderson has posted a new video on the Alganon Web site that takes us on a tour of Xanjuix Karr, the capital and major trading center of Harraja.

The videos shows us some characters running through the streets of the city, both during the day and at night. Numerous NPCs can be seen in the buildings. The clip also showcases the newly added overhead family crests.

Our friends over at Quest Online have given us yet another look at their upcoming MMO. Today we get a sneak peak at a few different NPC's that you might find during you adventures in the world of Alganon. We have seen dozens of interactive databases developed since online games came into existence over a decade ago. Dedicated fans pour thousands of hours into researching the games they play, pulling every bit of detail they can out of them, in order to build a tool that can provide the rest of the community with game information easily and quickly. These sites are often well respected and contribute to the community for their game in ways that go above and beyond the database for which they were originally built.

Wouldn't it be nice though if there was an even more complete database already built into the game, available from the official community site, containing details just like those provided by fansite databases?

The 'Library' is the first true game database, exclusively for the Alganon MMO. This database will be available both in-game and on the Alganon community portal site, MyAlganon.com. Closed testing of the Library has begun, with public access beginning at a later stage of the beta. On the surface it may appear as equal to any other database out there, but it goes well beyond the typical listing of game information, starting with a plethora of details on your characters.

Quest Online has recently implemented a new sky and environment system for their upcoming MMO "Alganon". They've been kind enough to send us over an exclusive look at the new system.

The video takes you through the major areas of Xanjuis Plains, Threshmuck, Xukari Ruins, and many other areas throughout Harraja.
