Comic-con 2010, New Screenshots, & TenTonHammer

Alrighty several updates today. Quite exciting really!

First up we have TenTonHammer's coverage at Comic-con 2010, where En Masse revealed the never-before-mentioned "Glyph System". It seems to still be partially in the development stage, but they had enough to give fans a little peek at what this system entails!

Along with that we have the "what", "where", and "when" of TERA at Comic-Con 2010 for you! As well as information on how to get your hands on the lovely new TERA assets that are available.

The Glyph System seems quite interesting, really. Glyphs are used to enhance skills, basically, and they all have certain traits. There is a limit to how many you can activate at the NPC, however they have some really nice effects! A few traits mentioned in their preview are reductions to skill cooldown times (one was 30% redux.), another is increase to damage output...seems like quite a handy system!

Along with the Glyph System, they announced that they will indeed be featuring achievements in TERA. Even a "First Death" achievement. Most of the achievements currently seem a little silly, but hey, silliness is all in good fun right? And games are meant to be fun!

Glyph system seems to be a cool way to do it. I've always liked skill point based systems to improve skills beyond their base level such as Diablo or Ragnarok. Nice form of customization which allow people to differentiate from each other.
