TERA Sees Major Changes to Item System
Now players will have more options and will see no junk items.
Since the last North American focus group, En Masse has made several user experience upgrades in TERA. The largest complaint from players focused on the need for more diverse items. Since early 2010 TERA has upgraded to 10 times more items than there were previously. Players will also see that there are no "junk" items clogging up their inventories.
According to Daneen McDermott, an En Masse writer and hardcore gamer:
"There are no 'junk' items taking up space in your backpack. If you or someone in your group can't use a weapon or armor set, you can pass it along to another one of your characters through the shared bank, or try to extract some usable components from it for crafting."
These items can be found dropped off of rare monsters, in dungeons, and purchased with tokens earned through instances and quests. There is also a greater chance of crafting something really special using your gatherables.
Head on over to TERA's Official site for more details on all the upgrades.
