TERA Community Play Diary #5

This week Scapes and BotherMagneto venture further into the Isle of Dawn.

This weeks community play diary discusses a few new features in TERA. Scapes and BrotherMagneto cover the basics of dealing with tougher enemies as they progress through the starting zone. More and more they are relying on TERA's combo system to keep their timing and momentum going during combat.

They discuss an item that can be found in TERA that essentially allows players to gamble. This item, called a "Pandora's Box," allows a player to put an item into it and then activate it. Upon successful use of the box the item is duplicated, however there is also a chance that the box will simply consume the item leaving the user with nothing.

Another form of travel is introduced in the way of teleportation. Players can use scrolls that will teleport them back to the nearest safe area or town that has a teleport master. This teleport master will also offer services to port players to other locations, allowing for quick travel across zones and continents.

The next community play diary will be published the week after next, as BrotherMagneto will be out of the office this coming week.

There is one other noteworthy news article that was recently published at the TERA official website. In this article BAM's, or "Big-Ass Monsters", are introduced along with player achievements. Both of these features help to add depth to the already detailed world of TERA.
