World of Tanks Invades E3, Unveils New Video

World of Tanks has invaded E3! Above you'll see a couple tanks parked outside the Los Angeles Convention Center, which demonstrates that Wargaming.net is passionate about their subject material.

If you'd prefer to see some virtual tanks, Wargaming.net has released a huge batch of new World of Tanks screenshots at E3, as well as a new clan wars trailer. You can view the screenshots in our gallery and watch the video below!

Also, in case you missed the news, Wargaming.net announced today that it's developing a game called World of Warplanes that features military aircraft from the 1930s through the 1950s. Maybe they'll show off some actual warplanes at E3 2012!

Actually none of the choices are strange or unrealistic all have a bases in history and are used to flesh out nations tech trees that would be very limited, this is also what makes the game stand out from other tank sim as it doesnt just focus on the main tanks ie panther, tiger, sherman, t34 it allows players to experience and see tanks they wouldnt normally know of,

This adds a richness to the game that others lack.

As to the maps you cant comment on the lack of maps as they have alot to develop and there already quite a few now and any bigger it would make the games last longer, maybe later on when the game is further down the line they will add much larger maps but for now there fine. Look at battlefield bad company first then try and complain.

All WOT needs to do now is sort things like match-making in my opinion sloped armour, mainly on german tanks and balance russian tanks far more so there not op.
over all the game is great theres alot of potential and i hope they fully exploit that potential

The game is fun, some of the choices on tanks is strange or unrealistic but the game isn't a simulator, this game is one of the few MMO's online that a free player isn't limited in a way that stops them locking horns with the paying players. Having said that the maps are a little small and so far its a very limited selection of maps.

Nice real world tanks . Sweet marketing...The beta was very fun and game play enjoyable. In the live environment customer support is poor. Buying gold was easy (taking your money) but getting it into my account was difficult. Trying to get support from their financial support department was a nightmare. Not a recommended experience for a micro transaction dependent company. Play free if you like but I do not suggest buying gold, nor expect any customer service under a week or two.
