Enchanters are a intelligence-based, silk-wearing spell casting class known for their strength at controlling the minds of others. Enchanters are principally known for their ability to mesmerize ("mezz") mobs: hold them in a suspended status. If needed, they are able to pacify mobs to substantially reduce the chance of getting aggro, or wiping the memories of mobs who have gotten aggro on players.
Other utilities are their possesion include haste and slow spells that rival those of Shamans, a line of decently strong direct-damage ("nuke") spells, the ability summon a pet (or charm nearly any type of mob as a pet), and mana-regeneration buffs that are second to none.
Most enchanters are generally agnostic, and have a wide line of illusions of various PC and NPC races. This allows them to travel into cities where they might otherwise be unwelcome.
Dark Elves, Drakkin, Erudites, Gnomes, High Elves, and Humans may elect to become enchanters.
