Guess I will get 2 and see how it looks on War/Nin lol. They are actually war hammers so I guess maybe a war should maybe able to use them like morning stars or fail. But think the whole fail thing would be to hard to animate..
There is a theory that MAB applies to magic-based weaponskills. I don't know as much about Club WS as other weapons but Shining/Seraph Strike, Starlight and Moonlight might be made better with the extra MAB. There's only one way to find out >.>
If this is pld/war/whm onry, then wtf is theh point of mab? War gets no nukes, and pld and whm only get banish/holy, which do pretty terrible damage per mp and have absurdly long recasts. You also get effectively mab+10 from using the staff the corresponds to the element of the spell you're using. So um... wat?!
Banish and divine spells in general are far more efficient on undead than any blm spell. Holy is an instant 200-250 dmg for me on my whm. Add on to their damage efficiency to the fact undead are very weak to divine spells and the fact banish actually weakens them makes this a viable option for whms who do more than just cure.
My banish 3 can do 900 dmg on skellies in KRT when bursted and it only costs me 96 mp to cast.
Granted, blm spells are much better on everything else though :) But whms can have their kick butt moments that make blms look twice.
