Rift Quest:Crystal Clear  

Bonehew the Thunderer is the third boss inside of Deepstrike Mines. He has 28,854 health and some vicious AoE attacks. The main trick to Bonehew is that he will knock back the tank and anyone who is standing in front of him periodically. The knock back will throw a person about half the diameter of the platform. So the tank should always keep more than half of the platform at his back at all times to compensate for the knockback. DPS and healers should always stay on his side or behind him.

Occasionally he will move to one of the edges of the platform and perform and AoE knock back that will hit everyone in about a 120 degree cone in front of him. During this time make certain you are on his side or near enough him that the knock back will not throw you over the edge. After this AoE knock back he will begin pounding the ground. Everyone should stay away from him during this phase as he is doing a moderate amount of physical damage in a small AoE near him. After the ground pound he will return to the tank and the fight continues like normal.
