Likely not. You get several waves of mobs, about 5 to 6 mobs per wave. Think there were 4 waves. You Might be able to bow kite them, but I'm thinking the DPS may be a little low and they're pretty resisty even to a lvl 70 chanter maxed out in all the right stuff. =) I say grab a friend and try this out. Biased here, but a chanter is great b/c they can keep the mobs stun locked while you pick them off with a bow.
I Definitely would Not try the Pristine mobs without a couple partners at your current level. There are 8-9 mobs per wave and we counted 7 waves. We had the ranger snare them all, kite them til they were in a neat clump, I AE tashed (because they are so stinking stubbornly resistant!) then kept them stunned while he picked them off with his bow. We brought a cleric friend in for the Pristine b/c they stomped us the first time, but I think with that strat we would have been able to survive w/o the cleric, he wasn't having to heal, but was adding decent undead DPS. We were Not expecting so many mobs with the Pristine so were caught unaware the first time.
He droped the Waterlogged Leather Tunic and the Greatsword of Lost Souls tonight for us last night too (22 JUN 03). Group was 58 Mage 55 necro (me) 55 druid (wife) 52 chanter. If your a druid and don't have a EB item yet, this is the one easy to do.
Could be done with less fire power. One low 50 for getting the hits in middles + healer and maybe a bard with AOE to run em all around while everyone pick em one by one.
Everyone just stay in middle of room and let mob come on ya cause they pop ALL OVER the room, then let chanter do his magic and do AOE mez ... all back up and then pick em one by one :)
MOB This dude hit max 89 and is the NAME that have the item for the Broken version of the quest.
Did it twice in arrow (60 min timer confirmed on the Quest NPC to turned it the bones)
