Working through the epic on an alt and had a few challenges with this event. The key is to take your time doing it. Like the old strategy suggests, sit away from the platform and take a break between each reborn kill, kill them too quickly and the juggernaut failed to spawn for me.
Did this today boxing 70dru, 70ench, 70war, tank clr rog mercs. Had lots of HP, but was cake even with 2 reborns adding. No one came close to dying. Rampaged a lot. Juggernaut yellow to 70.
Was not a big deal. First pulled the Reborns single. Druid and Cleric did Pacify. The Conduit does always warp back after perhaps 1-2 hits, so you dont bother. Pulled them very close of the platform in range of KodTaz entrance. After that the Juggernaut is ready but the mobs around repopped. There is also a Ukun roamer that can also be pulled single. Killed all repopped mobs then the Juggernaut was alone. Warrior did Riposte/Defensive Disc and had about 100DS. Enchanter easily slowed/crippled. BST and ROG added. ENC nuked and sent pet in. Cleric and Druid did the healing chain. There was too much spothealing, group was sure to get him down, so Cleric and Druid were at 20% mana and they wasted it really.
Gear of WAR,DRU,ROG is cheap bazaar gear (with some nice cheapies 10kpp max. from SoF). BST was the same but the only one with over 200AA (400AA), ENC and CLR were really poor in Equipment (HP6-7k, Mana4-6k) and typical HP/Mana 150-Gear.
With proper Healing and a bit Divine Arbitration should make this really a easy task.
Ok. Did this tonight with a full group of under level 80 players. Lowest was 65, highest was 75. Druid being the only healer, monk being our tank. After we killed about half the Reborns, the Conduit turned into the Juggernaut. Once this happened, we had another monk take all the Reborns that were left, and run them around until the Juggernaut was dead. Unfortunately, somehow, they caught up to him, or he got stuck, or something, cause they killed him, though they didnt make it back to platform in time to ruin everything. 1 monk and 1 necro died. We did it with 2 necros, 2 monks, a druid, and a shaman. Juggernaut was red conned to a lvl 68 but was easy. Druid kept everyone healed just fine. Dropped the energized noc blood and some kind of silk. Chest spawned afterwards dropping a Dirt Covered Belt of Divinity and nothing else.
All in all, it was pretty easy. Lvl 80 warrior friend said he went on a few RAIDS to do this and wiped nearly everytime. So as long as you got good pullers and someone who can run the reborns around, you should be fine. Good luck!
Did this with 2... Druid Calmed them and i took 1 at a time, pulled them off the thing there on over to the KT stone. 1 by 1 i killed reborns till the last one died then the Juggernaut spawned killed him up on the ramp. I suggest if your lvl 70 and you get adds and your doing this if your tank can hold up on 3 adds just give him Barkspur and make sure he has the other DS's on this eventually killed them. Took along time but eventually he was worn down.
Me -- 66 druid, semi-time geared, if it means anything -- and a 75 monk, 14k hp and botted 75 cleric wiped out the event today. Monk kept the Juggernaut busy, healed himself with his cleric throughout the fight. I got killed twice, by a Reborn who didn't care for my nukes and by a ukun who pathed up the walkway. Cleric would have been fine with mana if he hadn't needed to toss me two rezzes during the fight, one that was 100%, so I tossed him 4k's worth of heals while he concentrated on healing his monk.
I did this event a awhile back with a friend who boxed a Berzerker, Cleric, and Monk. We had a little trouble on the pulling while he was trying to tank / heal / pull so we got about 6 Reborns. I aggroed them and let them pick them off one by one the rest of the fight went smoothly and 2 people passing by jumped in to help a Shaman and Warrior if i remember correctly. All and all it was a very easy fight. All of his boxes were CoA geared with 2.0 though : )
We did this event last night and we are by no means a high end guild or even have VexThal geared people. Most of our stuff is from one groupbale quests such as the Archstone quests or ornate witha smattering of smaller raid targets equiptment.
First of all our druid spawned the event early, which was a bit of a shocker. She did this by getting too close to the named mob up on the platform. So we backed off and the ranger was pulling to the MA who was a SK with 11kHPs/1950AC and not very many defensive AAXP. I was the SA and rampage tank (he does rampage, not sure if that was mentioned), a 69 pally with 9600 HPs/1975AC, almost no defensive AAXP at all.
We had one cleric, all spells but very underequipted and had another cleric join halfway through the fight but who never got an invite LOL. Other than that the only other healers were a 68 druid and a boxed 69 shammy. We had one chanter for buffs and then we had a smattering of BLs, necros and a wizzy. They ranged from 59-70 only two were well equipted, probably Vexthal level but definetly not time or Anguish equipted.
Unfortunetly ranger pulled all but one of the adds at one time. That was total chaos with myself kiting some. (Pallies are good kiters...stun from anywhere and not causing damage and then running like hell LOL) Necros grabbed one and worked them and some others kited while the MA just went to town. We did have a few deaths and took a few moments to rezz and rebuff.
We then rushed the named, with me offtanking the last add and killing it while the MA tanked the named. We never did land a slow. We tashed, mala'd, malo'd, and did putrid decay and never landed a slow from either shammy or a chanter. Not immune, just never landed. No casters reported major resist once debuffs were done, not sure if he debuffed any of them as I was duo boxing a shammy and never got a message my debuffs were popped off.
I had rampage and also had full agro sometimes. He hit for up to 800 I think. Tripled but not often and did not hit very fast. I said my stats already and yet I could ahve tanked him fully with a decent cleric. The 68 druid in my group kept me healed on rampage just fine. I dropped a few heales from the shammy when I ahd full agro.
As for the AOE, we kinda forgot about it and honestly I do not remeber seeing it. But either way, with any decent DPS on this fight, it is not a worry at all. Not one caster in our little raid of less than 3 groups had a mana pool over 7k Most were around 5k with the two clerics around 6k. No one even came close to running out of mana. Fight lasted a few minutes. not a short fight but not a long one by any means. Was about the same time as a BoT wing named I would say. Just hits a bit harder than them but probably same Hps.
Only real problem we ran into was push. with the Bl and necro pets, we almost pushed him right off the platform but the raid listned and backed off to allow the MA to pull him back to the center. Don't ever let any tank tell you cannot move or position a summoning mob. We do it all the time :)
Anyway point is this is very doable by any guild worth their salt. he is one of the easier Epic 1.5 mobs IMHO.
Have tried this event quite a few times, and every time i have failed...did get him most of the way down before the clerics died last night, but since i was the only one left to heal with no mana, it didn't go so well and he ended up despawning before anybody re-engaged him, so guess i am going again
Just did this myself, and he does cast Balance of the Nameless, so slowing and DoTing are pretty pointless.
Took 20 mins to kill him with a low dps 4some (war, dru, cle, shm). Had Infusion up for most of the fight. He resisted most nukes, but cold seemed to land now and then. Druid ended up chaining Barkspur.
Parsed at 300k hit points and 350dps on a War with around 2100AC and halfway through DoD defensive AAs. Also War was defensive part of the time.
We killed him tonight with 2 warriors, 2 druids, 2 clerics, a wizard, a mage, a bard, and a chanter. The Reborns on the platform are hard to pull, but other than that was pretty easy. The Juggernaut hits for 1241 max and his ae I resisted every time. Just have a bard play sv magic song, 300+ will do it. The Juggernaut is fully slowable, and our chanter did it easily. You will need a lot of dps becuase this guy has a ridiculous amount of HP, especially for 1 or 2 groups.
Question........ I was informed that if the casters were to go under the platform that the AE mana drain would not hit them. Well that info is wrong. Every caster under there was drained. And we wiped because of that.. We had 2 druids, cleric and shaman that were healing the tank. Other than when the mob ramp'd the tank had little hp loss to speak of. But ramps is where we needed to heal. Anyways we got the mob to about 60% and then mos everyone was near out of mana. (even though after careful reading spam and calculation) I had used approx 40% of my mana. And then of course the melee all died.. casters lived because of the leash / loss aggro effect. Anyone found a spot where casters can heal from but not get mana drained?
Haven't done this fight for quite some time now, but the Target Type for this spell is NPC Hatelist - this usually means that you cannot hide, no matter how far you run. If you're on the hatelist you'll get the AE. You might want to consider letting a bard sing SvMagic, because I'm pretty sure that is the only way to avoid the AE =/
I found out a few thing about this encounter this past weekend while helping a druid friend get her piece for her 1.5 epic. First of all, the Noc Juggernaut is not immediately spawned, rather, the Ritual Conduit is spawned first. The platfrom near the runed stone that one clicks on to zone into KodTaz is where this event takes place. Normally, the platform has 6-8 or so Reborn. When a druid gets semi near this platform and is at the appropriate step in their epic, these mobs all despawn. In their place, the Ritual Conduit spawns in the center surrounded by about 8 Reborn, who stand in a circle around it. Two sets of steps head down to the west. At the foot of each stairway are 2 more Reborn (total of 4 down there). It turns out that druids with the new OOW harmony can use it just fine on the Reborn. Certainly the new Pacify works also. So our druid would harmony a couple, pull 2 and we would kill those, rinse and repeat. By the way, it turns out that it is best to pull from the mountain side that is touching the back side of the platform, close by the KT zone in. It's not necessary to kill the bottom 4 Reborn that are at the foot of the stairs. In fact, it's a hindrance, as it turns out that killing the Reborn that are surrounding the Ritual Conduit are sufficient to morph the Ritual Conduit into the Noc Juggernaut. As has been stated before, the Juggernaut is leashed. Pulling the Reborn aggros the Juggernaut also, but just as he runs off the platform -yank- back he goes into the center, and aggro is wiped. We used a group of 12, 3 characters boxed to kill the Juggernaut. We are mostly Ldon/OOW equipped with a few bits of elem thrown in. The Juggernaut had a few hundred thousand hitpoints and probably took a good 5-6 min or so to kill him. I believe he hit in the 1500 range, our warrior used defensive and he was slowed to some degree (not sure if it was full or not). Healing was easy with 2 clerics and a druid.
Jugg cons yellow to level 70, so level 68 is not correct, it is 71 or 72.
Hits 1241 max on a warrior with 3% shielding. Single target rampage and AE mana drain. You can avoid the mana drain by sitting under the platform where you fight him (he is leashed), or on the ramp.
Kill the 6 reborn around him and he will turn from A Rebord Conduit to the Juggernaut.

This may be a timed event because we had a group killing this event. When we were on the second to last reborn, the Juggernaut despawned. This happen to anyone else?
This may be different for other people, but here is my experience. We killed off the 4 Reborn's on the lower platform, The Juggernaut did not spawm, but the Ritual Conduit did increase in lvl. The Juggernaut did not replace him until we had 1 Reborn left. The Juggernaut also seems to be "leashed" to the upperplatform, so ya need to engage it there.
Says a raid encounter, but it's really not, a GOOD group with a bard or enchanter or both could do this event, would just take a bit longer. I tanked him as a pally and wasn't very tough, the adds or the Juggernaut, with EP gear and some GoD stuff, but bring 12 people or so, should be a breeze :)
Sadly, didn't get a chest on any of the three kills I have done on this guy :(
