He's not social to the mobs around him and will come singly if pulled. Having Langour and Halcyon Zephyr running all the time will mostly cope with his melee output, but you'll need to fire off a few blast heals now and again.
He quads for 1914 or so with 15% shielding and rampages too. It's important to keep an eye on your pet if you're soloing this, as the extra DPS from Panther procs really adds up over the course of the fight (expect it to take around 20 minutes).
The toughest part is when the adds pop at 50%, as they're not rootable and summon. Using Drowse is a good idea to get them slightly slowed, as is Spirit Call - pop the wolves on the adds and they'll keep at least one busy while you get them both slowed. Use every defensive you have to get you through and DPS the adds down ASAP!
After that the only slightly tricky bit is at the end when the mob splits into 4 rockstorms. Again, Drowse will get them slowed but unlike the 50% adds they're fully slowable, rootable and don't summon. It's unlikely Spirit Call will have repopped by this stage, so punt one and get the others slowed - you should be able to tank 3 slowed mobs at once with ease.
EDIT - get resists to 500 or higher and the AE won't even land. SoF gear plus Praetorian / infusible gear in all slots and an Elemental orb will do it, or use Resistances of the Cave Bear from a soloable quest in Icefall if you need a further boost. High level effusion of Druzzil potions may also be handy for a MR boost.
79 Pally, 80 and 73 clerics, 74 rogue, 80 dru, and 60 chanter. FD AE seemed like it was chain cast for about 15 seconds at a time, tossup AE was used a lil less than FD one, Pally tanked Collossus, all others took out Spawns. Over kill, considering peeps can Solo/Duo this guy. Lost chanter ,but kinda figured we would anyways. Was very fun fight , with all the /sitting. Dropped Chain class Bracer, Woot! me (rog)

Been 2 boxing this with 80war 80shaman, both with 1500+ AA’s. I kill adds when they pop around 50% then beat him down till dead and take out the rest of the adds that poped a 10%.
I was running by and saw him up...figured eh, why not? Buffed, prayed, pulled. About 45 minutes later, he's dead. Demiplane-geared at best. Ended fight with about 25% mana.
NPCs at Relic zone wouldn't engaged the split respawn at end. Not sure if I didn't take them to right one, or if they were changed to not kill. We ended up having to kill them all, which isn't to hard. Just have someone aggro them all, and root/snare them off one by one.
did hime with 4 people today. Incredibly easy fight. Warrior = 17.5k hp, 3k ac 2.0 1200 AAs Cleric = 10500 mana, 500 AAsish Monk = 14.5k hp, 1250 AAs 2.0 Shaman = 9500 mana. 550 AAs 1.5
Easy fight, Pop infusion if resist arent good, but warrior and monk's resist were 500ish with DoD spell mission mask clickee. So they didnt get hit at all, just start CH at 80% didnt pop stonewall will 50% . Never came close. his dps is lacky and he misses alot on us. His AEs were ****** and didnt hit at all with 450 - 550 resist. Just down it. at 30%? was it?. 2 adds pop, down them easily. Monk soloed them np at all. Then continue named. at 15%ish he despawns and pops into 6 lvl 71 adds. they hit pretty damn hard if all at once. So have monk train them arodnd, get a root off on one, then train the rest to NPCs near relic. The NPCs will kill the adds, but make sure the rooted one is still alive. as the last to die will have the loot.
We tried to kill today and around 15% he turned into alot of little fragments and shards and wiped the raid. Probably around 5 mobs that he turned into. We had about 20 people.
Kill this guy every spawn with 2 warriors, 1 monk, 1 cleric and 1 shaman. We pop Infusion of Spirit and it's a simple fight. W/o infusion, have more healers and keep them at max range to miss his 2 ae's. One ae called Colossus Upheaval throws you into the air, and the other called Colossus Stomp throws you to the ground FD-style (always failing FD though). The adds aren't really a problem with the MT's hp/ac, but feel free to get 2 groups to tackles this monster. Good Luck !
How hard does the Colossus himself hit for, and how hard do the adds hit? Are the adds mezzable or do they need to be tanked seperately? Do the mobs around the Colossus assist him or can he be fought alone? Thank you in advance.
took mob down tonight with single group of average to slighty above average gears toons, cleric, chanter, shaman (died fast) SK, pally and BL. fight was very fun, at 50% 2 adds, at 15-10%ish he despawned and broke up into 6 yellow mobs (71-72?) all rootable, but not mezzable i guess. i (Bst) kiteing 3, chanter had 2 and tanks killed one at a time. not hard if you keep you head and stay calm. we wiped on the first try, rebuffed and killed him second try 10 mins later. Again, fun fight, would be good raid experiance for lower end guilds or those trying to hone skills. High HP, so you better have some mana in your healer. (also tank was a 14k tank, i was 11k Bst and infusion helps a ton, had it first try and never got hit with any spells, second try, covered in resist buffs, got hit alot, FD AE spell is annoying, seems to chain cast it several times, but cleric was a very good healer. Noone died after the shaman. Just make sure the tank only has one or 2 at a time. hit me for up to 1800 with 2k ac mostly 1400's
Watched him get taken down the first night of the release. 14 people took him out, it might have been one or two more, but I am pretty sure it was just a 14 man pick up that did it. MA was: Warrior Off-Tank/Rampage: Shadowknight Healers two clerics, a druid, and a shaman. Dps seemed to consist of cloth and chain class's.
Fight started on what appeared to be shakey grounds as the MA, almost bit it. Well he went purple, laid down and got back up. Healers recovered nicely. Rangers kited any adds around the fight until it was over.
The Colossus of Skylance actually went down pretty fast, suprisingly so. Not having parsed the dps of the fight, I must assume that he "either" did not have a whole lot of HP, or the DPS section was able to just burn him down. After all the fight did not last a whole two minutes.
I just found a safe spot on my alt Bard and watched from the cheap seats.
This guy dropped a qvic level chain bracer, for our raid on the first night (18 people)had like 200/hp manaand 10 to accuracy, was decent for a first night kill.
